I guess I could've merged these first three entries into one, but I knew I wouldn't get around to actually upload this thing until today, so I decided to space them out.
Anyway. I was thinking about adding fanlistings to my profile, so I went to thefanlistings.org, where I had a brief moment of being delighted that it still exists, only to then realize that one of the, to me, most important fanlistings I was looking forward to add is offline. So I was like "well, I guess I could just make an icon for it myself for now", but you know what? Whatever. I might just make all of them myself lol. And do deviantArt like stamps instead of tiny icons, if I'm already at it anyway. Because why the hell not.
So that's on my list for potential future website updates, too, now.

I'm currently doing smth I call NaDraWriMo like, National which nation tho? Drabble Writing Month, where I aim to write at least 100 words a day. I started out working on
a little murder mystery story involving some of my OCs, to get to know them better (the murder victim is Seto Kaiba though). But then decided that words written for the OC wiki I want to add to
the site at some point count as well. And kind of stopped all work on that story. Whoops. Maybe some other day then. (Do my words here count, too?)
And I did a little one day life-drawing class today! That was nice. I like to do those a few times a year, to keep me from getting too comfortable and have too much control over what I draw and how and for how long. Keeps all ur drawing muscles in shape, not just the ones that aren't much effort, if you know what I mean? Here is my least favorite piece from today:

I guess it's a little funny, coming from someone who is still active on tumblr, the one site where ppl are still somewhat random and shitpost in between reblogging random aesthetic stuff - but I kind of miss being like. Random on the internet and just sharing small things and throwing ideas around and such. I still am, when it's only my RL friends following me on a private account, but I pretty much stopped everywhere else over the years.
I guess part of it is bc the internet isn't freak and nerd territory anymore but a place your literal RL boss could find you with a little elbow grease, while the German tagesschau (nbd, only the biggest news outlet in the country) posts articles about fanfiction and AO3 on their website. And because I have a tendency to keep all my free time online presences linked, so if you find me on one website, you can very easily find me everywhere else I set up my little tent. So I guess I got very cautious to not doxx myself.
Well, and I'm also 25 years older than when we first got internet access at home, back in the day, and tire very easily of unnecessary online wank and general drama. So I tend to sleep on stuff that annoys me for at least a night before I decide whether or not I need to post about it.
I like to think of myself as someone who is so far pretty good about fighting the cringe war on the side of the cringe? But maybe I need to up my game some more in regards to that. Kinda hard if you're not actively neck-deep in a fandom atm and bursting at the seams with the need to spam post BlorboTM with that one (1) mutual who is on the same level of intense and has the same flawless taste as you, but I'll think of something.
Anyway.
